Our pilgrimage will begin in Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet on July 5, 2014 and continue until July 18, 2014. We’ll visit and experience Lhasa’s awe-inspiring structure of massive proportions, The Potala Palace, former home of the Dalai Lama, which has more than 1,000 rooms. After visiting several monasteries in Lhasa, we’ll proceed to Shigatse, Mount Everest region, and many remote villages of Tibet to experience the food, traditions and culture. You can sip on some yak butter tea and feel right at home. Our journey concludes in Katmandu, Nepal. Before proceeding to Katmandu, we will visit Milarepa’s Cave, where the great Tibetan Buddhist philosopher, (c. 1052—c. 1135 CE), spent many years of his life in the eleventh century.
